Turnaround Policy

At 48HourWebsites, we take our delivery commitments seriously. Here's exactly how our turnaround policy works so you know what to expect from the moment you place your order.
1. When Does the Clock Start?
The build clock starts after intake approval — not at the time of payment. Once you submit your order, our team reviews your intake form for completeness. The build window begins only after we confirm we have everything needed.
2. Delivery Times by Plan
Build windows are measured from the moment your intake is approved:
- Starter Plan (1–2 pages): 48 hours
- Growth Plan (3–5 pages): 72 hours
- Full Site Plan (6–12 pages): 96 hours
3. Incomplete Submissions Delay the Clock
If your intake is missing content, images, or critical details, we'll request the missing items. The clock does not start until all required materials are received and approved.
Required materials typically include:
- Business name, description, and contact information
- Logo (or confirmation that we should create one)
- Brand colors and style preferences
- Page list and any reference websites
- Any photos, copy, or content you'd like used
4. What the Build Window Covers
The build window covers the website build only. It does not include:
- The revision period
- Client approval time
- Domain connection (DNS propagation takes an additional 24–72 hours depending on your registrar)
5. No Content? No Problem.
Select "We Write It All" during intake — our team writes professional copy and selects industry-matched stock images for every page. This option does not delay your clock.
6. Revisions After Delivery
- Unlimited revisions are included for 7 days after initial delivery
- Revisions must fall within the original project scope
- Major redesigns or additional pages may incur additional fees
- The revision period begins when you receive your preview link — not when you open it
7. Late Delivery Refund Policy
If we miss the guaranteed delivery window through no fault of the client, you may be eligible for a partial refund:
- 10% refund for delays up to 24 hours beyond the plan deadline
- 20% refund for delays beyond 48 hours past the plan deadline
- Maximum refund capped at 30% of total project cost
This applies only when:
- All required materials were submitted on time and fully
- No scope changes or additional requests were made during the build
- The delay is solely attributable to 48HourWebsites
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the missed deadline.
8. Hosting Renewal Rates
Hosting and SSL are included free for the first 12 months. After that, renewal rates are:
- Starter: $120/year
- Growth: $240/year
- Full Site: $360/year
Renewal invoices are sent 30 days before expiration.
